Stay dry and cool in this ultra soft, superfine merino wool/recycled polyester blend that combines wool's natural odor control and insulative-when-wet properties with polyester's excellent wicking performance and speedy dry time.
This silky-soft and comfortable tee comes in a durable jersey knit made from 63% merino wool wrapped around a 37% all-recycled polyester core. Super comfortable on its own in warm temperatures or beneath outer layers in cooler ones, it offers great technical abilities: naturally resisting odor, moving moisture away from the skin, regulating body temperature, and maintaining consistent stretch. The low neck opening – with smooth, self-fabric binding – invites ventilation while still covering bra straps. We slow-wash our merino for next-to-skin softness. Machine-wash cold; lay flat to dry. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
Material - Chlorine-free Wool: Raw, untreated wool has scales that make it itchy and coarse and cause it to shrink, so most wool fabrics are treated with chlorine to reduce the scales. Our 100% merino wool is so fine it can be slow-washed without chlorine for softness and minimal shrinkage.
Technology - Recycled Polyester: We recycle used soda bottles, unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.
